Ballocks dagger

The dagger (or the knife) was a very popular cold steel in 14th and 15th century in the west and south of Europe.

Blade length 25 cm.

As model served the dagger displayed in London's Wallace Collection.

Rondel dagger

The dagger is probably of southern Europe origin. It was used from 13th to 15th century.

Blade length 30 cm.

Sandwich knife

It is a kind of roundel dagger (knife). The shield and the pommel consist of a small metallic targets - among them there is another small target made of woods.

Blade length 30 cm.

Target dagger

The arm that is a part of public collection in Switzerland inspires the dagger. The original piece comes form the 15th century. The blade is from one side flat, form the other one it is polished (see the picture).

Swiss mercenaries used the dagger form the 14th century. It had soon become popular in another countries and was used till the beginning of 17th century.

The dagger from 16th and 17th century. It was a small and insidious arm - the blade of triangle profile could have been used only for sticking.
